The Nicolaus Copernicus Planetarium and Astronomical Observatory in Chorzów is the oldest and largest of its kind in Poland. Each of us probably knows from school textbooks the distinctive dome of the building, which is also the largest projection screen in Poland, with a diameter of 23 m! Thanks to the projector, which weighs 2 tons (!), and the largest refractor telescope of a 30-inch diameter lens in Poland, we can admire the Universe.
